San Diego Sunbursts is a fictional ice hockey franchise, a self-initiated creative project designed to challenge and expand my skills as a creative director.  The brief was simple: build a complete brand identity from scratch, with no client constraints and no existing guidelines. Logo, jersey design, color system, mascot, scoreboard visuals, fictional schedule, every touchpoint conceived and executed as if the franchise were real. The Sunbursts became a sandbox for experimentation: a way to push my visual instincts, test new tools, and explore what it means to build a world around a brand rather than just a logo.
